Hello, my friends! I’m currently taking a break from typing away at my novel crazily to write this blog post for you all! Normally, I’d have all my posts scheduled ahead of time, but this isn’t necessarily a post you can schedule because it’s right at the moment I’m writing. xD In case you missed…

an adorable puppy photo shoot

Nov. 11, 2022

Hello, my friends! I hope you’re all having a lovely day and enjoying the wonderful weather! A bit ago, before all the leaves fell and every changed to looking bare and brown outside, I took Chewy, my sweet Maltese-Bichon puppy (who’s not actually much of a puppy anymore) out for a photoshoot. She isn’t a…

pumpkin snickerdoodle recipe {one of my new favorite fall recipes ever}

Nov. 04, 2022

Hello, my friends! A few weeks ago, I was in the mood to do some fall baking – I looked up some recipes and came across this one for pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies. As my family (especially my oldest brother, Malachi) used to adore these cookies, I wanted to try this recipe. After they turned out…

a golden hour drive {& giveaway winners}

Oct. 21, 2022

Hello, friends! A few weeks ago, my dad offered to take me out to get photos of all the fall colors around us. We live in a valley, so it’s tough to get good pictures of all the beautiful hills and fields around us, so I quickly said yes! A few of my younger siblings…

It’s release day for #roadtriprescue by @beccawi It’s release day for #roadtriprescue by @beccawierwille!

I had the chance to read an advanced reader copy of this beautiful middle-grade novel, and I am so excited for my copy to arrive in the mail! ☺️

Here’s the blurb 📚✨:

Twelve-year-old Kimmy trusts dogs more than people. After all, her dog Bo never made fun of her for having one hand. But two years ago, Bo disappeared.

When Kimmy stumbles across a magazine photo of a dog in upstate New York that looks just like Bo, she must find him. Years stand between Kimmy and a driver's license, and her parents seem oddly unsupportive. So, when pink-haired, adventure-hungry Aunt Skylar agrees to a road trip with a stop in the Adirondacks, Kimmy jumps at the chance to bring her furry family member home.

But Aunt Skylar’s idea of a road trip isn’t the rescue mission Kimmy had in mind.

HAPPY OCTOBER! 🍁 🧡 What are you looking for HAPPY OCTOBER! 🍁 🧡

What are you looking forward to this month?

I’m reading some of my favorite autumn books (Echo Mountain is my current read!), outlining my novel, catching up with school, finishing cross country, and working on my business. I’m also hoping to go to a corn maze with some friends and do some other fall-themed activities!

🍁 What do you read and watch during autumn?

I’m a seasonal reader (and movie-watcher!), so autumn brings a new set of books and movies I’m ready for!

This year I’m reading Anne of Green Gables in September, Little Women in October, and the Loves Comes Softly series around Thanksgiving. I’m currently watching season 10 of #whencallstheheart with my sister, and my family always starts watching Christmas movies on Thanksgiving Day. 🍂
I may or may not have started a new project! 👀 I may or may not have started a new project! 👀

Tell me all about YOUR brainstorming/pre-writing process! I’m currently crafting a solid premise, characters, and plot — plus scrolling Pinterest for aesthetics.
