summer crafts {part two}

hey, friends!

in case you were wondering, i’m alive & well and definitely did not mean to quit blogging for three months! 😂 basically i got busy finishing school and the end of track season, then summer started, and so much has been going on! i went on vacation, have been spending so much time at our lake house, running a bunch, and then my brother got married last weekend which was crazy!! that’s my mini life update, hopefully i’ll do another post soon with a photo dump and some more details. (:

anyway, i’ve been in a very crafty mood lately and have been seeing the cutest ideas all over pinterest. i did a similar post like this last summer and wanted to do another with new ideas! i love doing crafts with friends, or if you’re having a party/girls night you could definitely use one or two of these ideas.

bleach shirts

my family does a bunch of tie-dye in the summer, but we haven’t ever done bleach before, and i really want it to try it! it seems like such a cute way to make some fun summer shirts. you could also do it on a tote bag or other clothing!

embroidery sprinkles cake

i’m not sure if this counts as a craft exactly, but it looks so fun and i’m going to make my boyfriend make these with me. 😂

bucket list jar

you could definitely still do this for summer, but i might end up doing it for the fall since by the time i actually do it, it’ll probably be almost fall. (if you need ideas for what to put in the jar, i have so many bucket list posts!). having a bucket list jar is amazing, though, because it keeps you inspired to do fun things! this would also be a simple but sweet homemade gift for someone, in my opinion!

beaded key chains

i’ve wanted to make these for a while, and i think i’m going to do them for my birthday party craft! everyone loves a key chain, and these are really pretty & customizable!

scrapbook

this has been my hobby of the summer!! i’ve loved scrapbooking so much, and my little sister does it too so we’ve loved being able to do it together. hopefully i’ll do a more in-depth scrapbooking post soon. scrapbooking is a lot of fun and such a good and creative way to have a place for all your photos & memories.

doormat painting

if you have a cricut, printing a stencil and then painting it would be a really fun craft or you could easily do it without a stencil as well. these are so cute and would also make a really good gift for someone!
