a happy list // vol. 12

i’ve been adding to this happy list for literal months now so i think it’s finally time it makes it out of my drafts. hope you enjoy reading! <3

february

• youth group tubing trip
• track workouts that i actually hit my paces
• iced coffee + espresso machine (favs lately have been maple syrup + sea salt or or brown sugar shaken espresso)
• church youth conference
• pretty clouds
• my cousin/best friend skiing with us (sooo fun)
• trying new dinner recipes
• watching anne of green gables with my sister (accomplishing my goals for the year)
• new running shoes!

march

• track season starting!
• making a murdery mystery movie with my cousin and siblings (this was hilarious)
• first meet of the season (broke the school indoor record in the 1600!!)
• fun race day hair
• an amazing ski vacation at lutsen (whole post on it here!)
• maple syrup season
• homemade maple donuts
• our last day skiing (actually not happy, i was about to cry)
• tanning + warm weather
• a fun little shopping trip with my sister & best friend – we went to the cutest mystery bookstore, did some other shopping + got dark choc peanut butter cups from trader joe’s (normalize driving 3 hours just for animal crackers and pb cups)
• celebrating my grandpa’s + little sister’s birthdays
• walks with my mom

april

• reading good books (current read: murder in highbury by vanessa kelly – most recent read: whose waves these are by amanda dykes, love love loved it)
• only a few more weeks left of school!
• wcth finale & getting the engagement we’ve waited 6 years for
• starting the new hope valley 1874 show (good so far!!)
• doing my own nails !
• running with friends every day
• my family always showing up to watch me race (including driving four and a half hours to watch a 5 minute race)
• sitting in the hot tub & reading
• hiking with my mom & sister and coldstone for ice cream after
• easter dinner with my grandparents
• good friday service
• thunderstorms (i loveee spring storms)
• tanning with my sisters
• warm days & sunshine
