a christmas happy list // volume 10

hey, friends!

this post is basically a compilation of all my favorite moments and photos from this christmas season. i love looking back at my happy lists from a year or two ago, and i thought it would be fun to have one full of christmas memories to read next year. (:

thanksgiving day (we all got up at 6am to do a 5-mile fun run, had dinner with all my family, i took a nap at my grandmas beacause i was so tired and we watched the christmas project)
a huge snowstorm thanksgiving weekend
ranger rides & sledding with my cousin & sister
ugly sweater run
opening day skiing (and every time after that!!)
getting & decorating our christmas tree
reading cozy christmas books (here’s a list of what i read!)
making a cookie advent calendar for my grandparents
watching the christmas play at our church and laughing so hard (it wasn’t supposed to be funny except they started out by losing baby Jesus, and then my little sister – she’s almost three – got up and left in the middle of it, and we were all joking that joseph was now a single father haha)
watching movies on our projector while baking
making gifts & receiving ones that are perfect for me
staying up way too late talking & laughing at sleepovers (only problem is i’m a grinch the next day 😂)
christmas eve dinner at my grandma’s
reading a chapter of luke every day until christmas <3
walking through our town’s light display & looking at christmas lights
all the baking!!

running 9 miles on christmas day with my little brother (he’s already faster than me 🥲)
