Earlier this year, I shared a room tour of my bedroom which my mom and I re-decorated last summer in 2022. A few months ago, I mentioned that we’re adding to our house (4 bedrooms, a bathroom, garage, and basement!), and originally, I wasn’t getting a new bedroom. But lately, I’ve started wanting a bit more space and a closet so once the house is finished, I’m switching bedrooms!
I’ve had so much fun browsing Pinterest and scrolling through Amazon and Etsy finding ideas and making plans for both DIYs and things I want to buy. So today, I’m going to be sharing some room inspo and some of my favorite decor finds that I’ve found and want for my room or want to DIY!

room inspo
I already know my walls are going to be white which I honestly don’t mind, and my dresser, bed, and vanity are wood since I’m getting my sister’s old ones, but I want all my other accents to be sage green, dusty rose, and cream! Here’s my Pinterest board for things I like. I really love a minimalist boho aesthetic right now, so I’m thinking wall collages, eucalyptus, wreaths, twinkle lights, photos, and a swing for reading and relaxing.

DIYs I’m planning
Hanging shelves! I saw these shelves on Amazon and showed them to my mom and she was like ‘You can make those yourself for probably $5 dollars,’ so I’ll definitely be doing that to save money and I’ll most likely share a tutorial on here!
Wall collage! I’m going to make one of these myself by finding pics on Pinterest and making quotes instead of buying one off Etsy or Amazon. Plus, I can customize it to exactly what I want! Random question; if I made a few kits, would any of you be interested in buying them? I don’t know if this is something I’d end up doing, but I thought I’d see if you guys were interested first!

Love these ideas❤️! I LOVE eucalyptus ( it definitely is my favorite type of greenery) ,and I have quite a bit of it in my room! I look forward to seeing your tutorial on making the shelves, I might just have to make some for my room too😊.

Ooh Pearl I love these! I redid my room last summer and had SO much fun searching everywhere–my favorite ideas were the “boho chic” kind of vibe with lots of cream & light brown and plants 🙂

Wow! I love the colors you chose❤️❤️❤️ I love interior design too!!! I share a room with my sister so it’s harder to find something we both like. But my fav colors for my side of the room are rustic black, wood grain, cream, and a deep greenish!
Aw, that’s definitely hard! I shared a room for 13 years so I get what that’s like.One of the main ways we were able to compromise by having white walls and then using each of our favorite colors for accents and having different colored comforters. We all liked pastels so it worked pretty well! And ooh yes, the colors are lovely!

Ooh fun! I’d love to redecorate my room but I’ll be moving out in only a few years so it’d be kind of pointless…I’m saving ideas for my dorm lol! I love the blush accents!
