an adorable puppy photo shoot

Hello, my friends!

I hope you’re all having a lovely day and enjoying the wonderful weather! A bit ago, before all the leaves fell and every changed to looking bare and brown outside, I took Chewy, my sweet Maltese-Bichon puppy (who’s not actually much of a puppy anymore) out for a photoshoot. She isn’t a huge fan of the camera, but with some help from my little sister, she was controlled enough to get a few shots!

Anyway, here’s your daily dose of cuteness!

We started out on the porch swing, I don’t know if she was very appreciative of the swinging but it made a fun photo.

The pop of color against the blue is so pretty and bright against Chewy’s white fur.

I love the fall colors and the lighting in the background of this photo, and the bokeh which makes everything look lovely. XD

She’s like, “Why are you coming after me with that camera again? I’ve gone through enough!” She actually did go through a lot like being terrified of a pumpkin, set into a leaf pile, put into a wagon, and the ranger, as pictured below. o.O She was actually quite cooperative by the end but was thrilled to head inside and get a treat.

And here she is in the huge pile of leaves my siblings made – she maybe lasted 10 seconds at most, as you can tell she’s trying to get out of this leaf pile, but I did get a quick shot!

We brought out the pumpkin for a prop, but she turned out to be terrified of it. Every time she moved away from it and one of the girls would move it closer, she would back away again. After quite a few failures, it finally worked. She looks very. . . unhappy in this one. But don’t worry! They get better and Chewy learned that the pumpkin (and the camera) are not her dreaded enemies.

She was still very suspicious. . . plus, a chipmunk came by then so she had to go after it. o.O Finally, she settled down!

Just when she was settling down, Macy tore out of the house to where she was supposedly contained to avoid her messing up all the photos and did exactly what I did want – photobombing. Chewy and decided to start photobombing. Jewel, who came along for all of these photos and carried the pumpkin, caught her and played with her for a bit, but Chewy was a bit jealous as she watched Macy play.

I love how the dark orange of the pumpkin and pine needles, and the dark bark of the tree, against Chewy’s white fur.

We decided that we’d bothered her enough with the pumpkin, so we decided to give her a break and just get a few photos without it. She seemed very happy without the pumpkin, haha.

Aw, this is a fun one. <3

We returned to the leaf pile and Jewel decided to get in and hold Chewy to hopefully make her stay longer than fifteen seconds. I absolutely love this photo.<3

Well, now Chewy’s driving the ranger – she wasn’t very pleased with it like I mentioned above, and like with the leaf pile, she jumped out within a few seconds, but I did get this funny photo while she was in there. She reminds me of a teddy bear in this photo, and is giving me Paddington vibes. . . ?

Awww. <3

One photo that Chewy wasn’t tortured for, haha! We’d decided that we’d bothered her enough and that the last photo would be just a fun normal shot.
