hey, friends!
i posted a similar post to this a couple of years ago so if it sounds familiar, that’s why! i did update it this year with my new goals and vision board. in case you didn’t know, a vision board is a collage of photos & words to inspire you – they are great for helping you stay focused on your goals & what you’re trying to accomplish. here’s how i made mine!
write your goals / ins & outs / word of the year / etc
there are a lot different ways to plan for the new year which i love because there is absolutely something for everyone. you can simply write your goals, pick a word of the year or something i’ve seen way more of is choosing your ins/outs and i love that option! i used some of the goals i had already written down from this post and created an ins/outs list off of those things.
ins
- gratitude lists
- journaling
- going outside every day
- reading my bible first
- setting my outfit out the night before
- using my real camera again instead of my phone
outs
- spending the whole day inside
- writing on my phone all the time
- complaining
- spending time on my phone that isn’t creative/productive
- skipping core workouts

make a pinterest board
next step is start a pinterest board! i usually pin anything that represents my goals or things i want to focus on this year. my board has lots of running, writing & reading, bible & bible study, lake/summer pins and some that have my hobbies on them (like baking, embroidery, etc) anything that reminds you of what you want to focus on or even fun things you want to do this year should go on your board!

choose your photos
i always pin too many photos on my pinterest board, so narrowing own which photos i want to use is honestly the hardest step. i make my vision board in canva, it’s free (i actually pay for pro because i use it all the time for my business & to me it’s worth it but the free version is great) – start by saving the photos you want to use from pinterest, upload them to canva, and start arranging them on whatever size you want, depending on what you’re doing with your vision board. (i usually choose desktop wallpaper) here’s some of the photos i used on mine!

choose your quotes / words
if you have a word of the year, you can add it in here. i usually put any quotes, bible verses, or things that i want to be reminded of during the year. these are some that i added to mine or ones that you could add to yours!!

put it all together
this is what my vision board looks like! i’ll probably make a few edits over the next few weeks but i love how it turned out.
you can make it as a phone/desktop wallpaper or you can print out all the photos/words you picked and make a physical vision board on a bulletin board or in a frame.
now, it’s your turn!
i hope this post is helpful for you guys!! what are some of your goals for the new year?
thanks for reading!
