my favorite homemade coffee syrups

Oct. 02, 2025

Hey, friends!

I’ve been making homemade coffee syrups for a few months now and they’re so good!! Here’s a list of all of my favorite recipes!

cinnamon brown sugar syrup

I made this one in the spring but I want to make it again soon because it’s so perfect for fall drinks. I also added some of it to a chai latte one time and it was amazing! The ingredients are very simple – brown sugar, water, cinnamon & vanilla.

sugar cookie syrup

If you’ve ever tried starbucks sugar cookie latte at Christmas time and liked it, this syrup tastes so similar to that and then you can have it all year-round. (But it’s especially nice during the holidays!)

pumpkin syrup

I can’t find the video from this recipe but it’s one Natalie Zacek made in one of her vlogs and it’s absolutely perfect for fall!! It tastes so good, and I love making a vanilla cold foam to add on top.

Recipe:

  • 1 cup pumpkin
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Heat everything together (except the vanilla) on the stove for 10-15 minutes. Add the vanilla extract and store in the fridge for up to three weeks.

caramel simple syrup

If you like a light caramel flavor in your coffee, this is perfect for you. I also added salt to most of my coffees to make it salted caramel, it’s delicious.

blueberry syrup

Blueberry syrup makes your coffee’s the prettiest color and it tastes so good & summery. I also feel like going blueberry picking and then making coffee syrup would be the perfect summer activity. (I’ve got to add it to my bucket list for next year!)

recipes i want to try:

  • banana bread syrup
  • toffee nut syrup
  • vanilla syrup

now, it’s your turn!

Have you tried making any coffee syrups before? Comment below and let me know if you have any suggestions for what kind I should make next!

I’ve never heard of Natalie Zacck, so I’ll be sure to look up her stuff. Usually, I do creamer for my coffee, but now I’m tempted to try syrup instead!
