Hey, friends!
Last week, my mom and I went on a walk around our property to cut & pick flowers for some bouquets. I brought my camera along, and since it’s been forever since I posted a photography post, I wanted to share them with you guys!

Most of our property is woods, so there’s not a lot of flowers there, but we have one field that is filled with these little daisies. I was kinda surprised when I looked up what kind of flower they were to find out that they’re just another type of daisy – they seem more like a weed than an actual flower to me, but maybe that’s just cause they’re all over?!

Here’s a close-up shot of the flowers with a cute little bee on there!

My mom has planted black-eyed susans in our gardens for as long as I can remember, and they’ve always been one of my favorite flowers! We have so many around our yard.

We also have a lot of these little purple flowers too, and they’re so pretty!!

I was really surprised when my mom told me that these are just another kind of zinnia?! I love all the different colors, and they’re an interesting shape, too.

I don’t know if anyone remembers me talking about this, but a few years ago, we planted sunflowers by our garden, but deer came and ate all but one plant. So we moved the one sad sunflower plant up by our house (right outside by bedroom window) so the deer would hopefully leave it alone…except it was when we were adding an addition onto our house and one morning, I woke up to a trailer backed right up to my window and over my one sunflower. 😭 My grandma gave us these plants this summer because they grew from bird seed and she didn’t have space in her own garden – now we have a whole patch of sunflowers that deer & trailers haven’t touched and it makes me so happy ☺️

🤍

My mom’s been planting zinnias in the flower beds right by our house for years now, and I have so many photos of them. They’re still so pretty and I love all the different colors!!

Our wave petunias have not been doing the best this year, but these ones look good! The cream-yellow color looks so pretty at golden hour.

They look even better when there’s a cute little kitten with them! Except Oreo didn’t want to be a cute little kitten, so I only have this photo of her before she decided to go hide. 😂

I did wake her up from where she was napping, though, so it’s not too surprising that she wanted to leave haha. Look at how adorable she is though 🤭
now, it’s your turn!
