Hey, friends!
Life’s been crazy the past couple weeks with getting back from our trip, my birthday, running & then vbs all last week but it’s been so good and there’s been so many things that have made me happy lately! I still have a couple weeks until school starts (I know some of you aren’t so lucky 😂) and I’m trying to enjoy the last part of summer, so here’s a quick happy list!
- vbs !!
- “cleaning” after vbs (we were really playing tag haha)
- fall weather (it’s going to be 90 in a couple days but right now it’s 65 and breezy and feels like october 🤭)
- writing on the sunporch in the morning
- iced coffee
- xc season starting in a couple weeks!
- being almost done with drivers ed
- sunsets <3
- reading two really good books (the war that saved my life & bloomability)
- 5k with friends (the actual race was horrible bc i was sick haha)
- designing websites again!
- smores + summer bonfire
- doing the little faith bible plans every morning (:
- reading on the porch swing
- going to sleep when it’s raining
- a really fun birthday!!
- mini golfing with my siblings
- bike rides
- post-run smoothies
- strawberry lemonade spindrift (the best sparkling water EVER)
- birthday coffee date with my cousin/birthday twin
- tie dye at vbs
- church picnic!
- running in the rain
- getting a boat (literally a dream of mine since i was like 5 and drove my mom’s cousins boat haha)
- all my grandma’s flowers
- birthday balloons
- smores + summer bonfire
- finally winning at othello lol
- the cutest kittens (birks & chaco 🤭)
- recording pod episodes (go listen!!)
- water fight with my little brother (ft reusable water balloons, buckets, the hose, cats, and a frisbee 🤣)
- homemade ice cream cake
- scrapbooking

So fun! This summer I did a lot of fun things, like going shopping, riding a carousel for the first time, listening to music, and seeing a castle!
