Hey, friends!
Today, I have so many beautiful photos for you today. Spring has finally arrived, and I’ve spent so much time being outside, taking walks in our creeks, exploring the woods, and enjoying all of the trees and flowers blooming!
Enjoy lots of spring flowers, golden hour glow, dogwood tree blossoms, and a sunset!
Let’s start right by the house. Mom planted so many tulips last fall, and they are so pretty now! These are right outside my window so I can see them as I type, which I love!
I went out and took these after it rained, so they were many water drops!
I feel like pink and yellow are a very traditional tulip combination, but still very pretty!
Let’s move to daffodils! These are no longer blooming sadly, but the person we bought the house from planted them and it’s always exciting when they begin to pop up all over the place. I love the darker, cooler lighting in this photo!
I love how bright and cheery daffodils always are. It’s very fitting in my opinion that they come out at the beginning of spring, just when everything has been dark and color-less for the past few months.
Crocuses look so lovely and delicate, don’t they? I found this one in the woods while I was on a walk with my mom and sister one day.
There are wood violets every where! I’ve started drying flowers and at this point, I probably have done over 100 (I’m planning to do a post on drying flowers soon!). Wood violets work perfectly for it, plus they are quite pretty. We’ve even found some white ones this year!
Moving onto something else other than flowers! I took these golden hour pictures a few days ago while I sat on the porch and read, and they turned out so pretty.
This is from another day, but still pretty. We call this the meadow, despite the fact that it still has trees because it’s the spot that’s the most open and with the fewest trees. I love how green it looks!
I love that this photo seems to invite you to step inside of it and go for a swing. Photos of swings always seem very inviting to me.
I recently wanted new photos of myself for my blog/platform, so last week, Mom and I went out and took some! I checked out a few different locations and this bridge that was built before we bought the house was one of them. (I wouldn’t recommend trying to use it to get across the creek. It’s awfully old and rickety.)
This is one of my favorites! I love the moss, the creek in the background, and how springy and green it looks.
I took very similar pictures last year around this time except I may love these a bit more. 😉 It reminds me of a woodsy fairyland with all the moss, the sparkling creek, and the lighting!
This is one of the prettiest but also the least prettiest parts of the creek. There’s a lot of brush and trees that have fallen that need to be taken care of it, but it’s where most of the mossy rocks are and that’s what makes it really beautiful. (At least, if you like mossy rocks.)
This is the view from across the creek; There’s a small pine forest with a few cedar trees on the left side that always smells like Christmas!
Glowing grass! So pretty and green.
A few weeks ago, Mom, Mercy, and I went for a long walk, all the way up to the end of our property, at the top of the ridge. It was so beautiful and nice out that day!
Do sunsets count as spring photography? Maybe? It’s still nature and it’s beautiful so I’m sticking it in here, haha. The sky was so gorgeous and so were the clouds on the way to church one Sunday evening!
Back to springier and green things. This is the dogwood tree that is outside my window. It was so green before it blossomed and now it’s all white. I love looking out my window and seeing it!
And this is where I really have to constrain myself on how many photos I use because AHHH. I have so many gorgeous pictures of the dogwood blossoms but they are pretty similar so I can’t do them all haha.
And here’s a collage of the rest of them! They are soo beautiful and fluffy, plus the bokeh you get is gorgeous.
Last night, my family was out of town so I ended up going to my grandma’s for the evening. Earlier that day, she had went to a greenhouse and bought tons of flowers to plant this year, so I took some pictures of those with my phone. I’ll have to share more when they’re in the ground and in full bloom because her yard is almost like walking through a garden in the park or something. It’s beautiful!
Lastly, here’s another collage with all the photos that I didn’t want to not put in, but I didn’t have room for. If you click on the photo, you can see it full size.
your turn!
I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you a dose of spring for you! Make sure to spend some time outside and enjoy the sunshine this week. Before you do that, though, let’s chat in the comments!

Ah my favorites were the white tree blossoms at the end! I wonder what kind they are. They look a little bit like apple or cherry blossoms maybe. Regardless, they’re beautiful!

I want to get a camera so I can capture all the lovely things going in on outside! My brother has one he doesn't use often — Maybe he'll let me use it.
Anyway, lovely post, as always!
