Hello, friends!
A few weeks ago, my dad offered to take me out to get photos of all the fall colors around us. We live in a valley, so it’s tough to get good pictures of all the beautiful hills and fields around us, so I quickly said yes! A few of my younger siblings tagged along for the ride, and we had a fun time together, enjoying the beautiful colors and weather.
But before I get to show you all of those gorgeous photos, I get to announce my giveaway winner from last week’s giveaway! So without further ado, the winner is. . .
Sophia @ A Teen Girl With Thoughts
Congratulations, Sophia! I’ll be emailing you as soon as possible to get details – Thank you all so much for entering, and in case you need something to cheer you up if you didn’t win. . . let’s take a look at these photos!
Before we started, I had to get the obligatory photographer in the truck’s mirror photo – It’s a bit blurry, but I think it’s fun anyways.
These next two photos are actually from a different day and photoshoot – we went on a drive to the lake and apple orchard, plus stopped at an Amish store on the way home. I noticed how pretty it was and had to get out and snap a photo. I thought they fit in this post well, though!
The clouds were so big and fluffy that day, with different layers.
Brownfields are so pretty, especially on bright blue sky days like this.
There was a creek running over here, along the field – It looked so peaceful there.
It was a bit too sunny when we first started which made these shots a bit dark, but with a bit of quick editing, I was able to make it brighter.
The sun was so bright coming over this hill, causing a few silhouettes with the trees. The sky looks much darker like it would be nighttime, despite it being only around 5 o’clock.
The sun is much calmer in this one, haha. So pretty though – The camera created a little rainbow flair about the sun if you look closely.
This photo is very over-edited and is by no means my usual editing style, but I find it neat. . . it’s certainly an odd style. . . I can’t decide if I like it or hate it, though. I love the layers on the sky, though – and the colors on the hills in the distance look much brighter than they did in the original photo. I somehow managed to delete the original photo, sadly, so I don’t have it.
This is close to what the original looks like – I was just closer and was in a different position. But this is close to what it looked like without the odd editing.
A much nicer normal-looking photo! I enjoy taking pictures of roads and paths if you can’t tell. I don’t know what that weird sun flare is, but I tried to edit it, and it didn’t want to cooperate, so I guess we’re stuck with it.
I noticed this jet in the sky – I love the simplicity of this photo, with the bright blue sky and the streak of the jet through it.
This little lane is pretty, with all the fall leaves and acorns along it – I always enjoy seeing paths and trails.
Ah, the colors of this one. . . so pretty!
Every time I look at these photos I’m reminded of what a beautiful world God created and I’m so blessed to live in it.
This is my favorite photo from the post, by far, which is why I saved it for last. I love the colors and the lighting. I’m always telling my mom that telephone poles are aesthetic except she didn’t believe me until she saw this photo. I love pictures like this, with the darker but beautiful colors, and the simplistic scenery of the hills, trees, and fields.
Welp, that’s all I have, for now, friends! I hope these pictures brought a bit of beauty and nature into your day.
what do you think?
Which photo did you like best? Does a sunset drive sound fun to you? Are you enjoying the autumn weather? (It’s more like winter to us right now! It snowed for over 3 hours this afternoon.)
Thank you for reading, friends, and have a beautiful day!

I teally liked the path picture! My favorite is sunsets when the setting sun sends light rays upward and it colors the clouds. It is breathtaking. God loves us so much he created this!
